Utility
There are a number of ways in which you can earn FIGHT tokens through the Fighting Fish platform. Some of these (like the Arena) will be skill-based. Others, like Tournaments and Giveaways, will be luck-based. Note that all of the payouts are on a per-fish basis, so holding multiple fish gives you the chance to earn more tokens.
All Fighting Fish will be automatically entered into all tournaments and are guaranteed to win some FIGHT tokens. The payout structure for the genesis tournament is below:

Every 24 hours, FIGHT tokens will be paid out to all Fighting Fish holders based on the arena rankings of their fish. The payout structure per fish for season 1 is below:

There will be occasional giveaways to community members for contests, random draws, and more. The rewards will be similar to those for winning a tournament. Make sure you follow our Twitter and join our Discord to stay in the loop on these!
Tokens will primarily be used to transact within the Fighting Fish ecosystem for status items and cosmetics. In an effort to avoid a pay-to-win system, FIGHT tokens will not contribute to the strength of your fish.
Through the in-game shop, you will be able to purchase Fighting Fish from the team for FIGHT tokens when available, though there are a limited number of these fish. In the future, we'll be building this into a marketplace to buy and sell all FIGHT ecosystem items.
Each fish comes with a randomly generated name. However, you can use FIGHT tokens to rename the fish to your liking.
Be a good person, though. Inappropriate fish names will be caught and removed and there will be consequences.
